MY BELIEFS AS A GENUINE NANNY
I believe... people thrive when they feel like they can be themselves.
I believe... music is healing
I believe... nature can teach us a lot
WHAT TYPE OF NANNY ROLE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AND WHAT ENVIRONMENT YOU WOULD BE MOST SUCCESSFUL IN
I am looking for a role where my skills and strengths bring a great benefit to a home. I do best when I feel connected to others in my environment and where I can be myself and feel comfortable and needed. I enjoy some autonomy once trust is established but I also appreciate teamwork when appropriate too :)
PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY, STRENGTHS,
WORK ETHIC, AND VALUES:
I would say I am a mix of calm and fun. I often feel most comfortable outside or around animals. I can be a bit introverted but I also like to laugh and be around people. Strengths: smart, fun, dependable, empathetic, good listener. Work ethic: I am dependable and do what I say I will do. I have integrity and honesty. Values: I value kindness and compassion for others. I value fair and equal treatment of people.
WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
I am a proponent of praising and encouraging good behavior often and ignoring or redirecting negative behaviors when possible. I believe in encouragement, validation, and praise. I like to remind kids of their strengths often. I also believe undistracted quality time is one of the best gifts you can give a child and it helps you better understand their inner world so you can help them process behaviors in the moment.
