MEET NANNY: BAILEY
Full-Time - East Bay, San Francisco, and Marin
Hi there! My name is Bailey and I have nearly a decade of experience caring for children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
I was raised by two special education teachers in a family with two siblings with profound developmental disabilities. I love spending time outdoors and have spent the last season working in Yosemite National Park as a naturalist guide while I wait for the perfect family for my next nanny role.
As a caregiver, I value emotional intelligence, empathy, and outdoor education.

MY BELIEFS AS A GENUINE NANNY
I believe... The best learning happens through play in the context of a highly nurturing (caring) and high-structure (safe) environment.
I believe... "Discipline" starts with validating a child's feelings and then establishing consistent boundaries for appropriate behavior.
I believe... Spending time outdoors encourages children to have a posture of curiosity and compassion toward themselves and the world around them.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?
My goal is to provide the respite that parents need in order to be the best versions of themselves when they are with their children. If I can alleviate even a fraction of the stress that comes from raising little humans, I have done my job well. Also, there is no vocabulary that adequately describes the privilege of re-experiencing the world through the wonder-filled eyes of children.
PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY, STRENGTHS,
WORK ETHIC, AND VALUES:
I value a sense of collaboration in the workplace. While I am more than comfortable assuming full responsibility for children while in my care, it is important for me to have an open line of communication with parents to ensure our goals and values for the children are aligned.
