SALARY: $40-45 per hour DOE + guaranteed hours & benefits

About the family:
This warm and adventurous Mill Valley family is seeking a loving, fun, and proactive caregiver for their two young children. As a family of four who enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, they’re searching for a dedicated, long-term nanny to join their home and provide nurturing care and thoughtful household support.
With mom working from home part-time and dad frequently traveling, reliability and flexibility are essential in their thriving household. They envision their ideal nanny as someone who is not only warm and attentive but also proactive in keeping things running smoothly while fostering their children's growth and development.

Responsibilities:
A flare for creativity and a genuine warm and positive personality!
Light household tasks: child’s laundry including linens, tidying, and organizing
Light meal prep for children. It’s nice to have if they are interested in cooking family meals.
Running occasional errands
Occasional date-night coverage (not required)
Engage in age-appropriate activities such as reading, sensory play, outdoor time, and arts & crafts.
Follow a structured daily routine, including meals, naps, and playtime.
Support early development through gentle guidance and interactive play.
Change diapers and assist with potty training when ready.
Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for their daughter.
The Ideal Candidate:
Ability to cook simple, healthy meals for their child.
Strong organizational skills and a knack for keeping the home environment tidy.
Energetic, fun, and easygoing personality with a good sense of humor.
Proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of managing tasks independently.
Comfortable setting firm yet loving boundaries
Enjoys outdoor play, arts & crafts, and literacy activities
Safe driver (preferably with own car to keep car seat installed)
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of nanny experience
Excellent references from past families
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Fully vaccinated (including COVID-19)
Ability to commit long-term
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate $40-45/hour DOE
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Paid Sick, Holiday and Vacation
Healthcare Stipend if applicable
Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience with school-aged children.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Impressive references from past employers
Willingness to undergo background checks
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
