MEET NANNY: ALEKSANDRA
Full-Time ROTA- Bay Area
I believe that a child’s early years are incredibly important, and I aim to support both their emotional and intellectual development through fun, engaging activities that stimulate curiosity and build confidence. I’ve been working with children for over 10 years in various settings—ranging from private nanny positions to volunteering at local youth centers—and I’ve gained valuable experience with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I’m always looking for ways to continue learning and growing in my role as a caregiver.
One of my favorite aspects of being a nanny is the bond I build with the children. I love to get to know each child’s unique personality and interests, whether it's a love for drawing, playing soccer, building imaginative worlds with blocks, or reading new books. I also enjoy setting up age-appropriate educational activities that encourage curiosity—such as science experiments, nature walks, arts and crafts, and even cooking together in the kitchen. But don’t worry, I also know when it’s time for a cozy movie night or a trip to the park to blow off some steam!
I’m very organized and detail-oriented, so you can count on me to manage schedules, meal prep, and even light housekeeping tasks if needed. I understand the importance of clear communication and am always open to feedback from both parents and children to ensure I’m meeting everyone’s needs and expectations. In addition to being caring and responsible, I’m also fun and outgoing! I’m not afraid to get on the floor and play a game or join in on a silly adventure.
Ultimately, I’m here to make your life easier and your child’s world a little brighter. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know your family and be a positive, loving presence in your child’s life!”

MY BELIEFS AS A GENUINE NANNY
I believe... I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and patience. I believe in fostering a positive, encouraging environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and be themselves. I also believe that learning should be fun—whether it’s through a hands-on science experiment, a creative art project, or simply a good old-fashioned game of tag. Most importantly, I believe in the power of strong relationships. As a nanny, I strive to build trust and form meaningful connections with both the children and their families. When we work together as a team, we create an environment where everyone feels supported and valued.
I believe... I believe in the power of nurturing both a child's heart and mind. Every child has their own pace and way of learning, and it's my job to meet them where they are, supporting their growth while celebrating their individuality. I believe in creating a balance of structure and spontaneity, where routines provide comfort, but there's always room for exploration and fun. I also believe that small moments matter—whether it’s a quiet conversation during snack time or sharing a big hug after a tough day. These moments of connection build trust and lasting relationships that help children feel safe and loved, no matter what life throws their way. Ultimately, I believe that being a nanny is not just about taking care of kids—it's about partnering with families to create a joyful, supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
I believe... I believe that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are. Children are constantly learning, growing, and discovering the world around them, and it’s my job to guide them through that process with patience, care, and enthusiasm. I believe in the power of positive reinforcement, encouragement, and helping children develop the confidence to try new things, make mistakes, and celebrate their successes. I believe that strong communication and trust are the foundation of any great caregiving relationship, so I strive to be open, reliable, and proactive with both kids and parents. And I truly believe that the little moments—whether it’s a quiet chat, a shared laugh, or a hug—are just as important as the big milestones. Most of all, I believe that being a nanny isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to positively impact a child’s life and help them feel supported, loved, and empowered to reach their full potential.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?
I want to be a nanny because I’m deeply passionate about working with children and playing a role in their growth and development. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being able to guide and support a child during their most formative years, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. I enjoy the idea of being someone who can create a positive, stable environment where children feel comfortable and loved, and where they can explore their creativity and grow into the best version of themselves.
To me, the nanny industry isn’t just about childcare—it's about forming meaningful connections with children and families and being a trusted partner in the child-rearing process. It’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s life, not just by caring for their physical needs but also by being there emotionally, helping to nurture their unique personalities, and guiding them through everyday challenges. Every day is an opportunity for growth, discovery, and joy—and I’m excited by the prospect of being part of that journey.
This industry also holds a special place for me because of the trust and responsibility that come with the role. Being a nanny means becoming an integral part of a family’s life, and that’s something I take very seriously. It’s not just about showing up for work; it’s about genuinely caring for the children you’re entrusted with and being there for the parents as a reliable, supportive resource. There’s a sense of fulfillment that comes with knowing you’ve made someone’s day a little easier or brighter, whether it’s by helping a child tackle a difficult task or simply by being a calming presence during a hectic day.
Overall, being a nanny allows me to do what I love—connecting with children, supporting their development, and contributing to a positive family dynamic. The joy, creativity, and personal growth that come with the job make it more than just a profession to me; it’s a meaningful, life-enriching experience that I feel fortunate to be a part of.
PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY, STRENGTHS,
WORK ETHIC, AND VALUES:
I would describe my personality as warm, approachable, and adaptable. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, especially children, and I take pride in creating a fun, yet calm environment where kids feel safe and comfortable to be themselves. I’m naturally patient and compassionate, which helps me stay calm in tricky situations and ensures that children feel understood, even when they’re frustrated or upset. I also have a playful side—I love to get involved in creative activities, whether that’s crafting, playing pretend, or simply joining in a game of tag at the park.
When it comes to my strengths, I’d say my biggest one is my ability to connect with kids and recognize their individual needs. Every child has a unique personality, and I take the time to learn about what makes each one tick, from their interests to how they best learn. I’m also very organized, which helps me keep schedules on track, plan meals, and stay on top of tasks like light housekeeping or schoolwork. I’m able to balance a structured routine with flexibility, making sure I can respond to the day’s needs, whether it’s an unexpected meltdown or a spontaneous trip to the zoo.
