SCHEDULE: 3 days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) from 8:00 am-4:00 pm
CHILDREN: 1.5 year old
SALARY: $35-$40 per hour

Our sweet Gardenia family calls the charming neighborhood of Menlo Park home. Their adorable one-and-a-half-year-old daughter is curious, playful, and eager to explore the world around her. She shares her home with a beloved family dog, making their household lively and full of joy.
This family is looking for a nurturing and proactive Nanny who will not only support their daughter’s growth and development but also help maintain a smooth and organized household. They value a caregiver who is warm, engaging, and excited to introduce creative activities, foster early learning, and encourage a balanced routine. A love for family meals, outdoor adventures, and building meaningful connections is key!

Their ideal candidate is someone who is confident, organized, and able to balance structure with creativity, all while providing gentle guidance and support. Responsibilities:
School pick-ups and driving to activities (safe driver required, windy roads)
Introduce new activities, arts and crafts, and support early reading skills
Light household tasks: child’s laundry including linens, tidying, and organizing
Meal prep (especially dinner)
Running occasional errands
Occasional date-night coverage (not required)
Engage in age-appropriate activities such as reading, sensory play, outdoor time, and arts & crafts.
Follow a structured daily routine, including meals, naps, and playtime.
Support early development through gentle guidance and interactive play.
Change diapers and assist with potty training when ready.
Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for their daughter.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experienced (not entry-level) and confident in childcare
Organized, proactive, and able to balance structure with creativity
Comfortable setting firm yet loving boundaries
Enjoys outdoor play, arts & crafts, and literacy activities
Safe driver (preferably with own car to keep car seat installed)
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of nanny experience
Excellent references from past families
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Fully vaccinated (including COVID-19)
Ability to commit long-term

Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience with school-aged children.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Ability to cook simple, healthy meals for their child.
Strong organizational skills and a knack for keeping the home environment tidy.
Energetic, fun, and easygoing personality with a good sense of humor.
Proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of managing tasks independently.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Impressive references from past employers
Willingness to undergo background checks
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
