A loving and busy family of four seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to care for their two children. An infant boy who is 1 month old and a toddler girl who is turning 2 in February. Their ideal candidate will be professional, attentive, and capable of fostering a warm and supportive environment as their family grows. Their ideal nanny will be loving, attentive, and professional, capable of managing their children's daily affairs with confidence and autonomy while maintaining open communication with Mom and Dad.
About the Role:
They need someone who can commit to at least 45 hours per week, has a basic understanding of child development, can provide age-appropriate learning activities, and is organized in managing routines. Additionally, their nanny should be able to prepare healthy meals for the kids. Most importantly, they seek someone who fits well with our easygoing and sociable family, making them a stable and cherished part of our lives for years to come. As a full-time nanny, you will care for their children, facilitate their growth and development through age-appropriate activities, and ensure their safety and well-being. You will work closely with our family, maintaining open communication and collaborating on daily routines.
Who You Are:
We are a busy family with both parents working full-time. Dad works downtown Monday through Friday, while Mom primarily works from home with occasional office visits. We value an active, sociable lifestyle for our children, encouraging them to engage in various activities, including music classes and playdates at the park. Our family values include unconditional love, kindness, and respect. We hope to find a nanny with whom we have a natural rapport. We expect to need a full-time nanny for years to come, and we would love to find someone who can become a stable part of our children’s lives and an honorary member of our family.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 45 hours per week commitment
Understanding of child development with the ability to provide appropriate learning activities
Experience in preparing healthy meals for young children
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage daily routines
Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Spanish language skills (a plus)
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care for their children, ensuring their safety and well-being
Engage in activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Facilitate playdates and outings to parks and classes
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
Maintain a structured daily routine, including nap and playtime
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and daily activities
Assist with light household tasks as time permits, such as grocery shopping and laundry
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
